There were 6 of them 3 for each propulsion unit. Redundancy was the name of that game. My Inspection stamp may be on the moon! After a government contract was cancelled I was laid off. Owning and operating The Store, in Whiting VT which was an Amoco gas station and country store and it had an apartment over the store making it a perfect fit while I attended college at Castleton State College during the day and came home and ran the The Store and gas station at night for four years while obtaining my B.A. in Sociology with a minor in Education. Taking a sabbatical after College to come to Florida, postponing my LSAT’s in preparation for law school, is where I meet my beautiful wife, Corl, who was working as a breakfast manager at Burger King and soon Vermont and the LSAT’s were forgotten. I met Bessie Reese of the Citrus County School Board and she suggested that I substitute teach while deciding where I wanted to work, which I did for a few years teaching at Crystal River High School, Lecanto High School and Hernando Elementary School. Working as a private contractor for Citrus County for 18 years, as owner-operator of Liberty Delivery with 15- 20 employees, we delivered all the county agenda’s and other documents to the various boards and offices of the county as well as other deliveries in and out of Citrus County included but not limited to, doctor offices for labs specimens, transporting medical equipment between the two hospitals in the county during their early reconstruction, Damron’s Parts (LKQ), etc. After missing 8 weeks work in 2005 because of my open heart surgery I went back to work at the Citrus County Property Appraiser’s Office and worked the next 14 years in a power chair that I plan to continue using when elected Property Appraiser. Working for 14 years in the Citrus County Property Appraisers Office, retiring as a Field Appraiser and having 32 years accumulated experience with the intricacies of Citrus County government in all areas puts me an in unparalleled position to take over the reins of property appraiser.

NASA and FEMA Will Simulate an Impending Asteroid Strike Next Week

NASA, FEMA, and other national and international agencies are once again gearing up for a hypothetical asteroid impact preparedness scenario. They hope to learn the best strategies for responding to a potential strike, starting from the moment a threatening asteroid is first detected by astronomers.

Next week marks the start of the International Academy of Astronautics Planetary Defense Conference. As part of this conference, NASA’s Planetary Defense Coordination Office will team up with other partners to perform a “tabletop exercise” on how they’d handle the news of a (fictional) asteroid on a collision course with Earth.

Again, the following is fictional.

On March 26, 2019, astronomers discover an asteroid in the night sky, far dimmer than Pluto to their telescopes. They name it 2019 PDC. Initially, it appears that the asteroid’s eccentric orbit bring it within approximately 18 times the Moon’s distance from the Earth, with a chance of hitting the Earth at one in 50,000 in 2027.

The orbit of the fictional asteroid 2019 PDC

The orbit of the fictional asteroid 2019 PDC

Astronomers continue to track the object as it gets closer. They learn it could be somewhere between 100 and 300 meters wide—the size of a skyscraper. After a month of tracking, the probability of collision with Earth is now 1 percent—the threshold at which international organizations have agreed they must take action.

Astronomers are able to create a “risk corridor,” measuring where the asteroid might hit. Its potential paths intersect the United States, some of western Africa, and the Atlantic and the Pacific Ocean.

Each red dot is a potential path the fictional asteroid might take as it passes the Earth in 2027. Clearly, this would be an asteroid worth worrying about.

Though just a drill, these are the kinds of calculations that astronomers must make when a real asteroid comes close to Earth. The fictional 2019 PDC describes a “potentially hazardous asteroid,” the kind that orbits close to Earth and that could have a catastrophic impact if it actually struck the planet. Scientists recently performed a similar simulation to this one, monitoring a nearby asteroid as though it were an actual threat. The new simulation instead will focus less on the scientific questions, and more on governmental response.

This simulation is the sixth near-Earth-object impact exercise that NASA has taken part in. Not only do these exercises help N

officials think through what they’d do in the event of a threat, but they also help them know what information is most important to FEMA and other agencies. Rest of Story here

Tesla convinced about alien life

While most people –especially young generations—are unaware of this, Nikola Tesla is one of the greatest scientific minds and inventors the world has ever known. Even though he is entirely absent from out history books, he is a man that created the foundation for today’s technology and lifestyle. But in addition to all of his inventions, Nikola Tesla was among the first people on Earth who claimed to have intercepted alien messages from outer space.

Everything from radio to remote controlled vehicles, Nikola Tesla laid down the necessary foundation for NASA and many other scientific agencies around the world, not to mention that he wanted to give the world unlimited free energy a hundred years ago. “There is a difference between progress and technology, progress benefits mankind. Technology does not necessarily do that.” –Nikola Tesla Nikola Tesla is the man who harnessed lightning; he was a true genius, and he envisioned new technologies far before their time and even claimed to have had contact with extraterrestrial beings. But this drab, 1960s-era building is nonetheless where NASA keeps the crown jewels of its explorationInside the secret vault: A rare glimpse of NASA’s otherworldly treasures If all the great inventions and discoveries of Nikola Tesla, nothing stood out with greater potential benefit to the whole of humanity than his discovery of Radiant Energy in 1889. The series of observations that led to the discovery of Radiant energyUnraveling Nikola Teslas Greatest Secret: Radiant Energy At the age of 28, Nikola Tesla moved to the United States and started working for Thomas Edison. Edison and Tesla became quickly rivals with different ideas; Edison was experimenting with direct current and Tesla with alternating current, competing to win the right to harness Niagara Falls and whoever controlled Niagara Falls practically controlled the power to the entire Northeast. Tesla’s inventions went far beyond electricity. He made groundbreaking discoveries such as wireless radio communications, turbine engines, helicopters(although it was Da Vinci who first had the idea), fluorescent and neon lights, torpedoes and the X-ray among others. By the time of his death, Tesla held nearly 700 worldwide patents. But in addition to all of the above, Tesla firmly believed we were not ALONE in the UNIVERSE. In an interview he gave to Time at the age of 75, Tesla said: I think that nothing can be more important than interplanetary communication. It will certainly come some day, and the certitude that there are other human beings in the universe, working, suffering, struggling, like ourselves, will produce a magic effect on mankind and will form the foundation of a universal brotherhood that will last as long as humanity itself. Tesla seemed extremely convinced about alien life elsewhere in the cosmos. In fact, not many people are aware of the fact that in 1900, while he was working at his famous Colorado Springs Laboratory, Nikola Tesla ANNOUNCED that the intercepted EXTRATERRESTRIAL radio signals. Despite the fact that the scientific community then thought Tesla was crazy, radio signals were something that was an unfamiliar concept to anyone but Tesla, leading to the obvious conclusion that Tesla was greatly misunderstood in his time. Perhaps one of the most noteworthy subjects we need to mention when talking about Tesla and ‘Aliens’ is the infamous Black Knight Satellite which wasn’t confirmed and tracked by researchers around the globe until 1932. Interestingly, Tesla believes he had spotted it in 1899 while working in his Colorado Springs laboratory, he started hearing mysterious rhythmic sounds on his radio receiver. On one occasion Nikola Tesla wrote: I can never forget the first sensations I experienced when it dawned upon me that I had observed something possibly of incalculable consequences to mankind. I felt as though I were present at the birth of a new knowledge or the revelation of a great truth. Even now, at times, I can vividly recall the incident, and see my apparatus as though it were actually before me. My first observations positively terrified me, as there was present in them something mysterious, not to say supernatural, and I was alone in my laboratory at night; but at that time the idea of these disturbances being intelligently controlled signals did not yet present itself to me. The changes I noted were taking place periodically, and with such a clear suggestion of number and order that they were not traceable to any cause then known to me. I was familiar, of course, with such electrical disturbances as are produced by the sun, Aurora Borealis and earth currents, and I was as sure as I could be of any fact that these variations were due to none of these causes. The nature of my experiments precluded the possibility of the changes being produced by atmospheric disturbances, as has been rashly asserted by some. It was some time afterward when the thought flashed upon my mind that the disturbances I had observed might be due to an intelligent control. Although I could not decipher their meaning, it was impossible for me to think of them as having been entirely accidental. The feeling is constantly growing on me that I had been the first to hear the greeting of one planet to another. . . . I was not merely beholding a vision, but had caught sight of a great and profound truth. –Talking with planets by Nikola Tesla. In addition, Nikola Tesla believed he had picked up signals that originated on Mars, and here is a statement he gave on what he believed he had discovered: Others may scoff at this suggestion…[of] communicat[ing] with one of our heavenly neighbors, as Mars…or treat it as a practical joke, but I have been in deep earnest about it every since I made my first observations in Colorado Springs… At the time, there existed no wireless plant other than mine that could produce a disturbance perceptible in a radius of more than a few miles. Furthermore, the conditions under which I operated were ideal, and I was well trained for the work. The character of the disturbances recorded precluded the possibility of their being of terrestrial origin, and I also eliminated the influence of the sun, moon, and Venus. As I then announced, the signals consisted in a regular repetition of numbers, and subsequent study convinced me that they must have emanated from Mars, the planet having just then been close to the earth. –Wizard: The Life and Times of Nikola Tesla : Biography of a Genius. In fact, according to the American Physical Society Physics, Nikola Tesla had concluded that the mysterious signals, or the strange unnatural object the signals were originating from, was extraterrestrials, or at least their effort to communicate with Earth. In conclusion, we understand that Nikola Tesla stated on multiple occasions that he thought he intercepted signals from intelligent beings from outer space. Tesla indicated that even the most primitive or simple form of communications –like the eventual exchange of numbers— could, in fact, be an intelligible radio transmission originating from advanced extraterrestrial beings ( via ancient-code.com ). SKY SIGNS click here

The Caveman, Ancient Civilizations and the people of the middle Ages all directed their eyes to the skies. They knew the skies foretold the future, whether good or bad. But they were primarily concerned with any dire news for the future and they were not talking in terms of our present day Astrology Horoscope reading for your individual astrology reading, the concern was for the whole, their well-being. The Sumerians and the following Civilizations knew the movement of the planets through the solar system and the milky way could have potential catastrophic peril, as a result all these people built some type of pyramids aligned in the same headings in order to accomplish their needs. It was the Kings and the high priests of those times who understood and the rest of the people only got clues and feelings of what might be happening. When this happened the people would pray to the gods, while the Kings, gods, and their entourage would prepare for flight.

During Middle Ages the many things that they saw in the sky were all referred to as comets or falling stars and usually it meant something bad was going to happen, it is likely the reason people say to make a wish when you see a falling star because back in those times it usually meant something catastrophic would occur, be it either sickness (a new plague or sickness) or an upheaval of the earth, such as earthquake, flood or something worst, so make a wish for good luck. The UFO, unidentified flying object, would have been interpreted as something from the heavens whether it is a chariot of the gods or something they hurled down at the people because they were displeased, falling star, comet, etc.

Our pyramids today are the massive telescopes and space exploration through (NASA) men, women and their tools, some of which are Hubble, the space station and satellites. The knowledge of the Solar System and our Galaxy, the Milky Way, still hold the same possible perils yet our leaders and scientists only reveal bits of information, information that they color if it would be too much for the populations of the world to accept, after all the world is always in turmoil, why make it worst? Yet in so many other areas there is complete lack of empathy or concern what is revealed. The masses are spoon fed what they deem necessary to maintain division and apathy, with stories blaming one group or another for the sad state of affairs within our country and the world while they quietly manipulate the events that make the headlines. Their behavior exactly mimics that of those early Kings, High Priest and gods, with their continual warfare that was instilled upon humanity from the beginning for reasons of jealousies, rage, hatred and profiteering. Divide and Conquer the key words of those ancient ones as they are now, because if humanity knew of its true creation saga and why they were jump started around 200,000 years ago, they might unite and speak of peace and prosperity for all and overthrow their masters.

How late is this Action to save the World? Bees Survival=OURS!

Don’t Forget Butterflies! Our Pollination Crisis Is About More Than Honeybees

When President Obama signed an order last week creating a task force that will seek to promote pollinator health, honeybees grabbed the headlines.

“Obama announces plan to save honeybees,” CNN proclaimed. “White House creates new honeybee task force,” the Wire echoed. “White House task force charged with saving bees from mysterious decline,” the Guardian added, referencing the colony collapse disorder that contributed to the death of 23 percent of managed honeybees last winter.

But those headlines overlooked the most important part of the presidential order: it encompassed all pollinators, including birds, bats, native bees, and butterflies — not just honeybees. The memorandum will spur the creation, within the next 180 days, of a National Pollinator Health Strategy that will lay out ways for the U.S. to better study and better tackle the problems facing pollinators, both wild and managed. While the plight of bees has gotten deserved attention of late, many species of pollinators face the same threats: habitat destruction, climate-induced changes in flowering and weather patterns, and in some cases, pesticides.

Wayne Esaias, director of NASA’s HoneyBee Net, said that while his work involves using honeybee hives to track changes in nectar flow over time to see how climate change is impacting honeybees, the problems wild pollinators face worry him more than the plight of managed honeybees.

We hardly know all their names.

“Our natural ecosystems depend not on the honeybee for pollination, but on our native bees and native pollinators,” Esaias said. “And we hardly know all their names.”

Elusive Subjects

Esaias’ assessment that the full spectrum of pollinating insects hasn’t even been identified is one part of a major weakness in the study of insect pollinators in the U.S., especially native bees. There are about 4,000 species of bees in North America, and about 400 haven’t been identified yet. That’s because there are only “a handful” of people who are familiar enough with bees to tell one species from another, said Sam Droege, biologist at the USGS’s Patuxent Wildlife Research Center and expert on wild bees.

“You can’t identify them on the wing like a butterfly,” he said. “A bee on the wing is a little black dot, and they move really fast, and a lot of those little black dots look essentially the same until you get them under a 60 power microscope.”

With managed honeybees, it’s easy to figure out how populations are doing. Honeybees — which didn’t exist in North America before settlers brought hives over from Europe — live in hives and are managed by beekeepers, so determining the percentage of bee losses that have occurred over the course of a year or a decade involves surveying those beekeepers.

Determining the status of thousands of species of native bees, on the other hand, is more complicated. Droege is trying to complete a survey of wild bees throughout the U.S., using biologists and citizen volunteers who put out red party cups full of propelyne glycol. The bees are attracted to the color of the cups and end up falling in and being preserved by the propelyne glycol. The volunteers then send the bees into the lab for Droege to identify. But being one of the only people qualified for this task makes the process of identifying the bees slow and creates a bottleneck in the research, Droege said.
