A few years ago when I was having a difficult time with my handicapped van, there were so many things wrong with it, it was cheaper to buy another one, even though I didn’t have the money for that either. I have a bone disease and I work at a County office so I needed a van in order to continue to go back and forth to work. I had struggled for months to figure out a way to get help to get a van, lacking funds, but because I work, I fell between the cracks in the avenues for assistance that are available for those who are not working and have a disability.
Renee was in the office one day and learned of my problem, she immediately asked if I wanted some help and told me what she intended on doing, which was to go to the Chronicle and her church to see if she could get help for me. Long story short, Nancy Kennedy, of the Chronicle wrote a story about my predicament and I got enough donations to get another van. By the way, Renee also donated $100.00; she definitely did the walk, not just the talk! That’s why I am voting for Renee Christopher-McPheeters, because she is someone who has concern for the people and she is willing to do whatever is necessary to get the job done. Early voting is now. I urge you to get out and vote for Renee, even if you don’t usually vote. Because it’s your interest that Renee will be looking out for when she gets elected. RIGHT NOW, is the time, it is the whole ball of wax, and this primary election determines who becomes commissioner in the race she is in!
The urgency is NOW, early voting is opened Friday and Saturday, Aug. 22 & 23, 2014 (polls open 10 A.M. TO 6 P.M.). The last day you’ll be able to vote is the following Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2014
Renee Christopher-Mcpheeter does more than talk, SHE DOES THE WALK!
