Happy Easter, it’s important to note that a great many people celebrate Easter around the world and some that the National Media have been hitting hard, but nonetheless, still observe the Christian holiday.

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister Dmitri Medvedev were among thousands of people who packed the Christ the Savior Cathedral in Moscow Saturday evening for a service marking the Easter holiday. The traditional service was led by Patriarch Kirill of Moscow, the head of the Russian Orthodox Church.
As part of the service worshipers lit candles using fire from Jerusalem’s Holy Sepulcher flame, brought to Moscow after being lit earlier in the day by the patriarch in Jerusalem. The holy fire has been brought to Russia from Jerusalem every year since 2003.
