Yesterday, in what’s likely the last chance this year to overturn the Citizens United decision, the U.S. Supreme Court rejected Montana’s attempt to limit corporate spending in their state’s elections.
In other words, the floodgates on unlimited political donations by corporations are wide open and locked firmly in place.
Let there be no doubt: The false attacks against my record — bankrolled by corporations, anonymous donors with deep pockets and a whole host of special interests — will only intensify.

If anyone believes that a Romney election will improve their condition , they are sadly mistaken. The ruling elite who have been in an endless struggle with the middle class and poor have Romney as their man. Those gathered, and their many rich friends scattered across the country, have reason for confidence. The race lurches into summer essentially tied, with views on the economy continuing to sour – just as President Obama is set to face a fresh set of challenges to his reelection bid. CRYSTAL RIVER — A violent home invasion left a suspect dead and one of the victims wounded in Crystal River late Wednesday night, deputies said. According to reports from the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office, the victims said a pair of armed, masked men kicked in front door and ordered the mother to the floor. The son, who heard her screams, came out from a back room armed with a gun, deputies said. Multiple shots were fired. Gunshots hit one of the suspects and the 25-year-old man, deputies said. The suspect died in the front yard of the victims’ residence on Cedar Lake Drive in Crystal River. The man was taken to a local hospital by his mother for treatment. The second suspect, who is also believed to be wounded, was last seen wearing denim pants and a dark-colored shirt. Witnesses said he sped from the scene in an unknown vehicle. He is considered to be armed and dangerous.

Nik Wallenda has become the first person ever to cross Niagara Falls on a high wire. The daredevil successfully negotiated walking a two-inch-wide wire strung through heavy mist some 200 feet above the roaring waters of Horseshoe Falls. Wallenda said the stunt was a tribute to his hero and great-grandfather, Karl Wallenda, who died during a tightrope walk in Puerto Rico in 1978. Next up for Wallenda is a high-wire walk across the Grand Canyon. ABC News .
