In what would be another giant step forward for Ron Paul, Republican candidate for President, in that, he defeated Mitt Romney and Herman Cain in the Iowa Republican caucus coming in second, is certainly a giant step forward that will get little, if no coverage, from the national media. A media that is controlled by the corporate monolith which has filters on what is acceptable and what is not. The logical assumption, you would think, is that the corporate monolith would love Ron Paul because he most certainly would remove many government hindrances to big business, if he were to be elected. But you see, the opposite is true, the Corporate Monolith doesn’t support him because they currently have a favorite, controlling hold, within our elected government now and that is preferable to any free operating system where competition and free enterprise is the name of the game.

Ron Paul, Obstetrician: No Abortions, No Federal Money Ron Paul is the candidate that would bring this country back from the precipice that it is now facing, he alone can do this, he alone is the only candidate brave enough to tell Americans the facts of life, without the sugarcoating. There is no other Republican candidate running that will not cater to the elitists, corporate monolith, the same group of people who fabricated the news that led this Nation to two wars, two wars that have made millionaires into billionaires, crippled our economy and indebted us to China for the next 50 years. Americans use to be able to take the truth, I believe they still can!

The Democratic President has failed miserably in standing up to this Monolith, caving in to every confrontation that has occurred. In fact, there is no discernable difference between the Democrat and the Republican mainstream anymore, they are just simply put, different paths to the same destination, with the American people being left on the wayside of Corporate greed manipulation.

Texas Congressman Ron Paul, a candidate for the Republican presidential nomination, defeated former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney and Georgia businessman Herman Cain in the latest poll of likely Iowa Republican caucus goers with 13 percent of the votes for a 2nd place finish. According to the Insider Advantage poll, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich pulled in 28 percent of the votes to beat Paul by 15 percentage points. Romney garnered 12 percent of the votes to earn 3rd place and Cain tied Minnesota Congresswoman Michele Bachmann with 10 percent of the votes to take 4th place.

Cain, who once led the GOP field in a number of state and national level polls, has fallen out of the top tier in the latest Iowa poll. However, Cain’s fall from the top has left the door wide open for Gingrich and Paul to solidify their support in Iowa.

image There is a need for the acceptance of responsibility for ethics of those in leadership positions. An example – the Penn State story of alleged child abuse that occurred on campus, with indications of similar abuse going as far back as 1998: was revealing of the total lack of ethics of some in charge here in America!  Penn State should have gone by  – "doing the right thing may be embarrassing and painful, but in the end, doing what is right causes less pain and creates less embarrassment" Although I must add, more importantly, by exposing such atrocity against children -  they will not be victimized by predators, instead: the Children Are Protected! This is the same philosophy that I have endorsed against Pornography with Concerned Women For America, Inc… I then realized that Children were the main target of predators. Living in Florida, where there is a history of many child abduction and murder by predators – I independently promoted the Proclamations Against Child Pornography, bringing the leaders of governmental entities together to Boldly Claim Responsibility By Proclamation To Protect Children From Molesters! Since then, after much hard work, trials and tribulations – I have received Seven Original  Proclamations Against Child Pornography, from Seven Floridian Cities signed by their Councilpersons, Mayors and then presented to me at their City Council Meetings! Congratulations to the following Cities for Being Ethical by Proclamation to Stand up and Fight for the Children Against Pornography/Predators!: Belleview, Crystal River, Dunnellon, Leesburg, Longwood, Ocala, Ormond Beach, and Much Success and Godspeed for them all!!! 2011 is tied for the 10th hottest year since records began in 1850, the office said in its annual assessment of average global temperatures. The Arctic sea ice has also shrunk to record-low volumes this year, it said. The 13 hottest years on the books all have occurred in the last 15 years.

The IMO (International Meteorological Organization) report said high temperatures saturated the Earth despite a La Nina event, when low surface temperatures in the equatorial Pacific Ocean has a cooling effect on the entire globe.

In an exhaustive study of extreme weather, the authoritative Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change reported this month that such events will increase in frequency and intensity as the Earth continues to warm.

The IMO said the extent of Arctic sea ice in 2011 was the second-lowest on record, and its volume was the lowest. Scientists see the Arctic as the planet’s most sensitive region and a barometer of the future.

The largest departure from the norm occurred in northern Russia, where thermometers soared and average 7.2 degrees Fahrenheit (4 degrees Celsius) above average in some places, and some stations reporting spring weather 16 degrees Fahrenheit (9 degrees Celsius) above normal.

The Russian Arctic and most of Siberia hold massive amounts of methane locked into the permafrost, carbon-rich soil that never thaws. Warmer summer temperatures mean a deeper thaw of permafrost and greater release of methane, a gas with a global warming potential 23 times more powerful than carbon dioxide.READ REST OF STORY HERE

It laid out a very specific plan to save Republican election candidates from losing this November because of their ties to big banks, as well as recapture the White House. How will they do it? By using a dirty tricks campaign to destroy the Occupy Wall Street movement within 60 days. Here’s how.

The 4-page memo is from the PR firm Clark, Lytle, Geduldig & Cranford and addressed to one of its clients – the American Banking Association. To give a little insight into CLGC, the second ‘C’ in CLGC is for Jay Cranford. As recently as six months ago, Mr. Cranford served as an aide to Republican House Speaker John Boehner before becoming a partner at CLGC. Aside from connections to the most powerful member of the Republican Party, the firm’s client list is a virtual who’s who of America’s Fortune 100. They include such powerhouses as:

  • American Insurance Association
  • American Banking Association

With a client line-up like that, its’ no wonder Clark, Lytle, Geduldig & Cranford offered to single-handedly destroy the Occupy Wall Street movement. Their plan of action assured it could be at least partially complete within 60 days. Their price – $850,000.

Why

image Why do they want to discredit and destroy the Occupy Wall Street Movement? The following excepts from the CLGC Memo explain:

“Leading Democratic party strategists have begun to openly discuss the benefits of embracing growing and increasingly organized Occupy Wall Street (OWS) movement to prevent Republican gains in Congress and the White House next year…This would mean more than just short-term political discomfort for Wall Street firms. If vilifying the leading companies of this sector is allowed to become an unchallenged centerpiece of a coordinated Democratic campaign, it has the potential to have very long-lasting political, policy and financial impacts on the companies in the center of the bullseye.”

The political experts at CLGC then go on to make their most fearsome prediction – not only will Democrats embrace the Occupy movement and condemn Wall Street, Republicans will too. The memo states:

“The bigger concern should be that Republicans will no longer defend Wall Street companies – and might start running against them too.”

The memo goes on to warn that Occupy Wall Street and the Tea Party have the exact same goals. It’s only the firms like CLGC that continue to use their hired pundits in the mainstream media to pit the two sides against each other. The memo insists:

“OWS protesters and the Tea Party overlap on angered populism…This combination has the potential to be explosive later in the year when media reports cover the next round of bonuses and contrast it with stories of millions of Americans making do with less this holiday season.”

Score one for the good guys. In an attempt to incite fear in their clients, the memo credits the “rag-tag group of protesters” with being, “an organized competitor who is very nimble and capable of working the media, coordinating third party support and engaging office holders to do their bidding.”

The above section explained in the firm’s own words why they want to destroy the Occupy Wall Street movement. Below, we quote excerpts from the CLGC firm’s memo detailing how they’re going to do it.

Basically, their plan of attack is broken up into (5) covert tactics:

1. Survey Research

The first step in their strategy is to survey the people whose opinions they’re going to try and sway – “women, seniors, suburban voters, GOP and Tea Party”. The surveys will include one large, national survey and eight local surveys in key swing states. Those targeted states are “Florida, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Wisconsin, Ohio, North Carolina, Nevada and New Mexico”.

2. Opposition Research

Once they have defined who ‘their people’ are, they will use the survey to find out their people’s greatest dislikes about the Occupy movement demonstrators. Once a rough character profile is created, the stated goal is to infiltrate the Occupy demonstrations and find the most offensive and embarrassing protesters to saturate the local media with. With many news outlets owned by some of CLGC’s very own clients and their corporate partners, enlisting the support of corporate media is a given.

The key objectives of CLGC’s ‘opposition research’ tactic is to find out exactly who they’re up against. The memo echoes a widely circulating rumor that George Soros is funding the entire Occupy cause. Regardless, the banking and insurance PR firm suggests exposing whoever truly is funding the movement. Doing so, they suggest, will cancel out their grassroots beginning and “show they have the same cynical motivation as a political opponent”. The memo insists doing so, “will undermine their credibility in a profound way. A key strategic goal will ultimately be to show any evidence of fraud on the other side.” READ MORE HERE…..

As a Thanksgiving deadline nears for action by the powerful congressional committee on deficit reduction, Bernie sounded an alarm over reports that Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid may be cut. "The American people have been very clear. They understand how important Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid are to the well-being of tens of millions of our people and they do not want to see these programs cut," Bernie said on Wednesday.

"This is a pivotal moment in American history. The rich and large corporations are doing phenomenally well while the middle class is declining and poverty is increasing. Now is the time to answer the question that the Woody Guthrie song poignantly asked, ‘Which side are you on?’ The Democrats on the Super Committee must resist Republican attempts to balance the budget on the backs of the must vulnerable people in our country. They must stand on the side of working families and the middle class. Late yesterday, I received word that a congressional panel has agreed to my request to investigate new voting restrictions passed earlier this year by Florida’s Legislature. Florida’s law cut early voting days and limited voter registration drives, among other changes. Some believe its passage was part of a broader voter-suppression effort in more than a dozen states that passed voting limits this year.
Sen. Dick Durbin, the Illinois lawmaker in charge of the Senate Judiciary subcommittee, said in a letter to me yesterday he’ll hold an investigative field hearing in Florida, in part, because Florida’s new law “will almost certainly disenfranchise a wide swath of the state’s young, minority, senior, disabled, rural, and low income voters.”
“In a democracy as vibrant as ours,” Sen. Durbin wrote, “there is perhaps no right that is so sacred or fundamental than the right to vote. I am deeply troubled by the disenfranchising impact of these recently passed state voting laws.”

Editor’s Note: It is apparent from the news around the Nation that there is a great deal of greed and a blatant disregard for those who are in need, the elitists have a strangle hold on this Nation and their only concern is the bottom line. It should be noted that their wealth was not built in a vacuum, government services protected them from invading armies, unfair business practices, and created the necessary infrastructure so their enterprise would thrive and do not forget the major bail-out from the government for those who squandered their assets away, yet their hostility toward programs that have protected people over many years, in the same manner as they have been protected, are now scorned upon by them with their intent being the dismantling of such programs. They have an unfair advantage in that they have unlimited financial support from their Corporate structure to wage a one-sided campaign against these programs, while the least amongst us are at their mercy, of which, there is none.

Stand with Democratic Govs. Tell the Super Committee: Don't Touch Medicaid & Medicare. Add your name.

Cut $500 billion from Medicare. Cut $185 billion from Medicaid. Cut $100 billion from other health programs. And – even though it makes no sense – give the super-rich $670 billion in tax cuts.

That’s how congressional Republicans want the "super committee" to reach the $1.2 trillion in deficit cuts required by the debt ceiling deal last summer. The only shared sacrifice they seem to believe in is sacrifice by seniors and the poor.

It’s absolutely disgusting.

The super committee’s deadline is only eight days away. They need to know that Americans will not accept deep cuts to Medicaid and Medicare. We’re telling the super committee NO on deep cuts to Medicaid and Medicare – and we need you to stand with us.

If states have to take on more of the burden for Medicaid, that means deeper cuts in education and other services people rely on.

And let me repeat – they want to make the cuts while giving another handout to billionaires.

That’s why we need you to send a message to the Republicans on the super committee immediately.

For the first time since passage of the Affordable Care Act, aka Obamacare, polling reveals that more Americans support the requirement that all Americans purchase health insurance than those who oppose the measure.

In a new CNN poll conducted during the period of November 11-13, 52 percent of those surveyed indicated that they now favor the mandate. This is a 6 percent rise in support since the question was last put to the public by a poll in June of this year and the first time those in favor have moved into the majority column.

While the increased support can be found primarily among low-income and older Americans, the new survey reveals that the controversial requirement has also reached a majority of support among those who identify as independents.

The uptick comes not only on the day the United States Supreme Court has decided to take up the question of the mandate’s constitutionality, but just a week after voters in Ohio strongly supported an amendment to their state constitution that would prohibit the government from requiring Ohioans to purchase health insurance if they do not wish to do so.
